Getting the Most out of Google Slides
This session will provide user-friendly tips for Google slides, such as how to make a more effective presentation, lesson, or document (including tools for Reader's and Writer's Workshop). Participants will also learn various uses for Google Slides, including "Choose your own adventure" style lessons, collaborative slide decks for students, Hyperdocs, memes, handouts, etc. Additionally, participants will learn strategies to make their Google slides' products more aesthetically pleasing to further students' digital literacy, enrich learning, and enhance engagement. Sandbox time will be given so that teachers can collaborate and experiment with our guidance and walk away with a new and practical skill set.

Google Forms and Sheets, a Match Made in Heaven
Participants will complete a series of challenges that will allow them to create a variety of Google Forms and use conditional formatting in Google Sheets to make their life easier. For example, they will create a daily check in and format the accompanying spreadsheet to color code responses to quickly alert them to students requiring immediate attention. They will also make a form using choice eliminator that can be used for conferences. In the end, they will have the resources to complete all challenges whether or not they finish during the session. The Great Wide Open: Leveraging Creativity with Low-Tech and High-Tech Options
Learners will participate in open-ended, cross content area activities that optimize divergent and higher order thinking. First and foremost, though, we'll get our creativity on in ways beyond conventional artistry.
