During this session participants will take part in two STEAM mini lessons that support facilitating student success in low budget open ended makerspace projects. Participants will create project samples using various common materials supplied. Through the open ended projects participants will practice the emotional intelligence skills of perseverance and self motivation. The STEAM projects will elevate skills needed to improve their own trial and error and exploration grit. Three digital examples will be highlighted to support publishing makespace projects and artifacts privately and on YouTube.
